project 1: understanding forces in skeletal structure

this project aims to create an understanding of skeletal structure and its relevant structural components. Through this project, there is more understanding in how a skeletal structure reacts under loading and how it works .Besides, Ability to manipulate skeletal construction is learnt to solve oblique design problem.

project 2: understanding forces in solid structure and surface structure

this project aims to create an understanding of solid structure surface structure and their relevant structural components. Through this project, there is more understanding in how a surface structure and solid structure reacts under loading. Besides, Ability to manipulate surface structure construction and solid construction is learnt to solve oblique design problem.

individual task: understanding forces in solid structure and surface structure

Individually, each student is required to do a 2D detail drawing (isometric, section) to show different parts of the selected buildings complete with annotations and specifications to show understanding on how the building is constructed. 2. Student must include a key drawing to show where the detail is taken from the building. 3. The drawings should be formatted in A4 size sheet complete with title block. Use appropriate scale for the detailing.
